This was a fun build

This was a fun build. As with all of the kits, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I appreciate the creativity demonstrated in the design of the final product. The little wires, and geared discs, add a touch making the final critter a bit more than just a spider with an awesome weapons package on its back. Speaking of the awesome weapons package. It was, well, awesome.

I find that when assembling the leg joints that you can never get the screws the right tightness that it doesn’t start flopping around loosely as soon as you adjust one of the legs so far, I am not impressed with this particular one

An impressive model, though not without it's faults.

This is an impressive model especially as the body is a working plasma ball. The build is rather repetitive as all the legs involve similar steps when constructing them. I did enjoy building the model however, it is the second Mecrob model I have built. There is one major fault however, turnimg on the lights by hand is impossible, the only way they can be turned on is by gripping the cylinder with the pliers, this marks the cylinders unless you are extremely careful or cover the pliers in protective tape. It defeats the object of having the eyes light up. One part was faulty and no connecting lead for the plasma ball. However customer support were very good and the parts are now on there way.

It was a small and detailed challenge. I loved the multiple lights, BUT, I wish they were all connected to a switch as it is difficult to keep them all on or off by untwisting the cap individually. It makes it hard to show it to others.
