This is my 3rd build from the Dune Meta series, so I'm familiar with the routine and the types of parts used. In fact, I now group the part's bags in the same way on my work board, because I know which ones will be most often used. That is, the "G" bags go in one place, the "LS" bolts and screws in another, and very common ones like the "S" nuts in another. Like the Aethercore/Wings combo, it assembles well, but is challenging due to the tiny size of many of the pieces and some odd translations of some of the instruction notes: "Bend the stroke..." ??? It took a while to figure that one out. The tools included with it are adequate, but I also am using a set of tiny combination wrenches (sizes 4-8mm), tweezers and some locking forceps (all from Amazon). Believe me, they help. I'm building the Pathfinder as a companion piece to the Aethercore and plan to pose it looking down into the machinery of the core. It's about 70% complete and like the previous 2 builds, I'm finding it deeply satisfying and relaxing to work on. I am not hurrying the project, but rather savoring my time with it. Five stars, Mecrob!

I just bought the robot lamp for my husband's birthday because he received a different Mecrob model for Christmas and loved it. The kits are really well made, with so many unique components. The build experience and the final product are exceptional. I know we'll be back for more models in the future.

It would be useful to get some tweezers and "third hand" to hold things together for some of the steps. My wingman got me through this!
