The idea of this “object” got me thinking, then when I saw it I was definitely a fan. Building this was actually meditative so much so that I had planned on another project this winter but have since then opted to buy now and hold for winter (just in case you sell out).
I bought this kit as a surprise for my college-age daughter who is a Mechanical Engineering major and she absolutely loved it. She described it as a ton of fun to assemble and "like Legos on steroids". She spent about 8 hours across 3-4 sessions to build it. She reported that assembling some of the tiny parts was challenging but the directions were clear and detailed. The finished product is charmingly intricate including a few organic touches (the cloth cape and leather belt) that really show attention to detail in a beautiful design. She has already added a few other Mecrob models to her Christmas list!
