Having completed the assembly of the Noctivate it certainly looks great and for the most part is was fund assembling it. It is definitely the flagship of my growing armada of Mecrob flying machines.
The assembly was tricky at times but this is an intricate model and I would expect that, the one issue and why I have docked it a star is that a couple of the components (primarily the smaller bolts) are in my opinion being used beyond their tolerance and are not able to adequately engage with the associated nut. This could easily be solved by longer bots but I guess that would make them non standard.
Overall it is a great model and the difficulties with bots can be overcome so I am please I got this one.
A very well designed and executed model. It consists of mainly stainless steel, with many highly polished parts. The end result is a practical table lamp, that can be used as just a light or with a soothing mechanical motion.
This is a highly recommended model kits.
