Utterly absorbing
Spent many hours assembling Aethercore, painstakingly-patient, and taking great care not to rush or skip any step. Was very organized and methodical. This kit is NOT for the haphazard or "don't read the manual" folks - it is for those who can follow instructions to the letter and double/treble check everything along the way. The only addition I would make to the manual would be to suggest putting a tiny amount of WD40 or similar on ALL the moving parts at the end - I used a cotton bud and a fine hypodermic needle to do that, and everything just worked so smoothly after that. It had been a bit "stuttery" prior to the WD40. Great model, Kids absolutely mesmerised by the finished product. Love it!

Project Scavenger Accomplished!
The idea of this “object” got me thinking, then when I saw it I was definitely a fan. Building this was actually meditative so much so that I had planned on another project this winter but have since then opted to buy now and hold for winter (just in case you sell out).

I had a lot of fun putting this kit together! The instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. I also bought the Aethercore kit to go with this one. They work flawlessly together! I highly recommend!

Both Mecrob models I have completed have been delightful experiences. The packaging and parts are well organized, labeled and accurate. The instructions are very well done and easy to follow. The advanced models do require some adjustments to complicated sections and a bit of fidgeting with movements but overall both assemblies have gone to plan.
